"Now is the Time" film screening - Public Welcome

As part of our ongoing exploration on the issues of Health Care in America, League of Women Voters of the Northwoods will be holding its January Topic Meeting on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at the Oneida County Senior Center, 100 West Keenan Street, Rhinelander, WI – located in the parking lot near Trigs. Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM  

We will be screening the documentary “Now is the Time – Healthcare for Everybody,  A New Era in Healthcare”.  This 71 minute documentary film honors the healthcare activists who have been taking actions for a long time without seeing immediate effects, and gives us hope that indicates that there is a way through once we reach a certain tipping point.  While this documentary does not necessarily reflect the position of the League of Women Voters on health care, it is our hope that it will act as a catalyst for discussion and ideas.
